Another Gottlieb pin that was easy for the consumer to identify with was Rack em’ Up!
This game used the pool or billiards theme to draw people to place this 1983 solid-state game. This pin is not as easy as it looks. The game has a total of 7 drop targets where the game logic changes based on the lane change prior to the ball going over a roll over. The only way to change the lane change after that is to hit the “8 Ball Pocket”, a kickback lane, or to hit the roll-under spinner. This makes the game harder as you really do not have the control over what numbers are blinking and available for “racking”. This can be a frustrating game at time but very fun when playing with others.
